Hi, I’m Kajal, the founder of Magical Mermaids. I’ve loved art, drawing, and crafts since I was eight years old, and I won numerous certificates for my work in school. One day, a friend of mine mentioned NFTs, and I felt inspired to give it a try. So, I began my NFT journey two years ago with my collection titled “Magical Mermaids Vol. 1” on the Polygon chain.
I’ve had a passion for mermaids since childhood. That’s why I chose to create a collection centered around mermaids. I set up an X (Twitter) account, starting from scratch, with zero followers. From that day on, I began promoting my work through posts, participating in shill spaces, and connecting with others. As a result, I’ve made a lot of friends in the community.
On this beautiful journey, I decided to launch our project on Shiba Inu’s dedicated blockchain, Shibarium. I personally illustrated each of the 1,000 magical mermaids, a process that took almost four months to complete. Finally, I launched it on July 17, 2024. Today, I am proud to be a part of the #SHIBARMY.
The Magical Mermaids have been featured at some prominent events, including NYC Times Square and NFC Lisbon in Portugal. We’re also excited to go to Tokyo for another event and participate in ShibaFest 2024.

I’m happy to share that we donate 10% of our sales to the Art of Wishes Fund, an incredible initiative by Tutti Frutti Women, one of the best projects on Shibarium, led by my beautiful friend @andre_tfw.
As a part of the Shibarium ecosystem, the Magical Mermaids project is dedicated to upholding the values of the Shib Army and engaging in activities that help with the growth of the community. To contribute to this effort, we burn 1% of the SHIB generated from the project after every 200 mints.
